Nearly 150 years ago the British Red Cross set themselves a mission - to help people in crisis, wherever in the world they may be, in whatever way they may need. And they would always deliver that help with kindness.

For this Christmas campaign, aimed at raising money and allowing the British Red Cross to continue doing what they do, we decided to use the weight of their heritage to tell stories of crisis they have been involved in. From WW1 and the Blitz through to the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami and the Manchester bombings, the key message is that it’s only with the support of the nation that the organisation has been able to continue its efforts throughout all this time.

In each piece of creative lies collective or individual stories of how the British Red Cross played a crucial part, from helping the wounded, supplying food or blankets, construction training or just handing that well-needed cup of tea we all know about.
