We launched the Real Living Wage Pledge

Tuesday, 13th of March 2018

It's time the creative industries became more accessible; nobody should struggle to afford to work within our sector. We want to get rid of financial barriers into our industry and open our doors to talented people, regardless of their background. With the help of our friends at Wieden + Kennedy, we have launched the Real Living Wage Pledge.

Agencies that have joined the pledge guarantee that every person over the age of 18, working for or with the agency, will be paid a real living wage of £10.20 per hour in London and £8.75 elsewhere. That's a promise to pay a real living wage, whether someone's permanent, freelance, full-time, part-time, on work experience or an internship, including cleaners, creatives and runners.

So far, 34 agencies have pledged, seeking accreditation from the Living Wage Foundation, and numbers continue to grow. You can find a full list of accredited agencies here.
