We made an iconic campaign for Côtes-du-Rhône

We've been working with Côtes-du-Rhône, the well-known Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) for the Rhône wine region on a campaign which aims to dispel the myth that Côtes-du-Rhône can only be enjoyed in fancy bars by wine buffs. The campaign combines the illustration style of classic French posters with irreverent British humour and will run in 48 and 6 sheet formats across London – with a healthy does of Franglais to take the edge off.

Ben Middleton, Chief Creative Officer at Creature said, ‘Je suis dreadful at Français but je think that le team have come up with something incroyable for the magnifique people at the Côtes du Rhone. And we're bloomin’ proud of the craft that went into it.’

Since the campaign launched its proved pretty popular on social media with people taking photos and sharing their love for the work on their commute – most notably, the hosts and producers of the BBC’s The Wine Show who applauded this fresh and witty approach to wine advertising. We’ve also been inundated with requests from the public wanting the iconic prints for their home: the posters should be available to buy from high street retailers (and vintners) within the next couple of months.
